MINIMALIST BACKPACKS

Before listing the objects, it is important to understand that our life in this 2019 will be in places of warm weather (or in the hot season) so it greatly eases the reduction of necessary objects.

Another important point is that minimalism does not try (or at least in our way of understanding it) to compete for who lives with less or who is more frugal. It's about finding a balance between what we need and what we have, and that balance can be different for each of us or vary according to circumstances.

One of the first ideas to have a "minimalist" trip was to choose objects that fulfill various functions hence have covered both normal days of simply walking around the city, days of sport, party nights or a little "elegant" events.

And another thing that worried me (Andrea) is to control the need to buy that appears automatically when we have a new activity.

I have met many wannabe runners (those who have gone running 3 days in their life) who will buy the whole kit (heart rate monitor and the latest running shoes included) so I have tried my best not to buy anything in order to be consistent with my criticism of that way of acting.

If I've lived 4 years with what I have now, why do I need to buy something?

In two cases:

1. There are things that don't concern me now (water quality) but in some of our destinations will be crucial (India);

2. If something I already have no longer fulfills its function, it is time to throw it away and buy a new one.
